CITIZEN ALERT v2.274
REMEMBER?

Remember back in JANUARY when I said don't be surprised by a Obama/Edwards ticket possibly and McCain winning in the general election. Looks like some others are starting to foresee that same scenario. This from Politico this morning:

But the contours of the electoral map, combined with McCain’s unique strengths and the nature of Obama’s possible vulnerabilities, have led to a cautious and muted optimism that McCain could actually surpass Bush’s 35-electoral-vote victory in 2004. Though they expect he would finish far closer to Obama in the popular vote, the thinking is that he could win by as many 50 electoral votes.

I still think with the REPUBS losing so many seats and so many others retiring, that McCain stands a good chance of winning but being one of the weakest Presidents ever with a huge DEM victory in Congress in 2008.

And yes I am voting for Obama.
