CITIZEN ALERT v1.91
MEASURE M = MEASURE MMMMPEACHMENT

Berkeley City Council unanimously approved for the ballot back in June a "Measure Meant to Raise Awareness About Bush's 'High Crimes'". Voters, come election day, will now vote on whether to call for the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

The measure though is merely an advisory tactic since only the House of Representatives can impeach a president, but it would make quite the little news story if it passed, and it has quite the chance of doing so since Bush carried only 7% of the Berkeley vote back in 2004.

The measure cites violation of international law, unwarranted domestic surveillance and the use of misleading evidence leading to the invasion of Iraq as grounds for impeachment.
