Tim Russert was one of my favorite people on the political scene. Meet the Press was one of the shows I lived for! I liked him because you could never tell if he was right or left. He was very fair and the situation that needed investigating was always first and foremost. Not "politics".

Prediction: NBC will probably go with Andrea Mitchell to take over Meet the Press. This is just going by the list of names that have been thrown around. Everyone else is too left or right. I don't know what Andrea is but she's been on MTP enough to just be a good fit.

Maria Shriver might be a good choice but she can't leave California without AHNOLD, and she would be seen as too left. David Gregory, eh, maybe.

But I say, look for NBC to return to the shows roots with a female host and Mitchell is the only one that I think makes sense.

Finally, George W. Bush has decided that maybe going after Osama Bin Laden might be the way to go in fighting his War on Terrorism.

President George W Bush has enlisted British special forces in a final attempt to capture Osama Bin Laden before he leaves the White House.

Defence and intelligence sources in Washington and London confirmed that a renewed hunt was on for the leader of the September 11 attacks. “If he [Bush] can say he has killed Saddam Hussein and captured Bin Laden, he can claim to have left the world a safer place,” said a US intelligence source.

Will this make the liberal left admit his presidency was a success if he succeeds in capturing or killing OBL. NO!! He should have done this YEARS ago! The fact that he backed off of it, started a war in another country, stated that he didn't give OBL much thought, just proves to me as I've said before, that Cheney and Bush wanted to FIGHT the War on Terror, not WIN the War on Terror at least not until it was convenient for their administration.

Former Presidential contender Dennis Kucinich laid out impeachment legislation on Monday. Nothing will come of it unfortunately even though it has 21 cosponsors. But I give the guy credit for putting it in the record at least.

He said yesterday, "The best option to prevent an unnecessary war with Iran is to impeach the vice president, the lead cheerleader of the war. The Constitution gave Congress the power to impeach. Congress must use its power to restrain the administration and impeach the vice president before he prods the United States into another war."

CITIZEN ALERT v2.275WHY HILLARY LOST

Senator Clinton lost because she got into a fight that some people thought she shouldn't have been in to begin with. When things went downhill and everyone said pull out, you've lost, get out, she instead threw more money at the problem and said victory was in sight. When it was clear to everyone that it was a lost cause she instead cherry picked the data and misrepresented the facts to promote her story that the battle was winnable.
