Senator Clinton lost because she got into a fight that some people thought she shouldn't have been in to begin with. When things went downhill and everyone said pull out, you've lost, get out, she instead threw more money at the problem and said victory was in sight. When it was clear to everyone that it was a lost cause she instead cherry picked the data and misrepresented the facts to promote her story that the battle was winnable.

Why would Hillary Clinton "embellish" on a story about a trip she made to Bosnia saying she had to duck down for fear of snipers on a runaway when she KNOWS that on the trip she was surrounded by the press corp watching her greet a freaking child on the tarmac with SINBAD?!
