ELECTION WRAP UP
Well, as CITIZEN ALERT prepares to call it a night and head to bed, the country is looking mighty BLUE.
As my predictions went, the DEMS did take back the House, stronger than I thought they would.
Schwarzenegger did hold on for a second term, but this time with a Democractic Attny General who opposes the death penalty! Ha! Gotta love that.
And the DEMS have picked up the 4 seats that I figured they'd get, but as of 1:27am PST, they are in the lead to pick up 2 more giving them the 6 they need to control the Senate. Wow! That was shocking. Montana and Virginia what will the morning bring? A recount I'm sure for Virginia, but a DEM upset in Montana? Who knows?
Now, we're going to see a new Presidency start to unfold tomorrow. Until today Bush has had to cooperate with no one - both House and Senate lending their rubber stamps to anything he chose to champion - but now we'll get to see what kind of politician George W. Bush really is.
