We want to thank all the readers and wish them a Happy Thanksgiving as we sit with our families and celebrate this time in our country's history where some pilgrims came together with the Pokanoket and their chief Massasoit who had helped in keeping the new settlers from starving to death. They held a great feast that lasted 3 days and in return, they gave Massasoit a nasty disease that he later died from. When his son succeeded him they shot him dead, and when the 2nd son succeeded that one, they killed him, sold his wife and children into slavery and then chopped off his head and stuck it on a pike outside Fort Plymouth for two decades.
Come on...who had to have seen that one coming!
